What will our program prevent?

The TT10 week program will enable you to prevent training result plateaus,  to increase your performance in all areas of strength , endurance , speed without injury and learn about injury prevention.

With bodyweight an load carrying resistance training ,you will gain strength and muscle , so muscle wastage and osteoporosis will be prevented and reversed as you get stronger and more powerful over the 10 weeks.

Training outdoors in all weather prevents and helps reverse depression and increases immunity.

I started Turnbull Training 10 years ago, I noticed that there was a need for people to train physically outdoors, in the elements, it felt right, as it turns out there’s serious grounding in science as to why that is the case.

Here we are to date having trained hundreds of people to be physical training self sufficient outdoors , with a clear cut goal and mission , the right mindset and self discipline, and mental resilience to keep going no matter what life throws at them.

I wasn’t always so fit and healthy , I can safely say that being fit and healthy saved my life on more than one occasion !

Q.I’m not sure of the value of this program, the gym has loads of equipment and classes , I can go whenever I want, why should I change or adapt my timetable to fit your program ?

A. Unless you know exactly what you’re doing with all that fancy equipment, and have a decent training plan , with a personal trainer to guide you , it’s just a bunch of fancy expensive equipment.

Q. I’ve seen your training and that looks like stuff I can do when I walk my dog !
A. Its easy to dismiss something at a glance, but if you look closer you will see that each session is designed with purpose to accelerate the abilities of those who participate, so if you are walking your dog everyday why have you not become able to do a Spartan Beast , except you’ve become better at walking your dog ?

Q. Some of the training looks challenging and hard, I’m worried I might get injured !
A.It’s easy to look at something at a glance and immediately think and convince ourselves that that’s not right or too hard for us, but remember that your body is an amazing piece of biological machinery , capable of so much more than we realise, if you give yourself the chance and opportunity to try something new, you will be able to amaze yourself, we see this daily !
